Once you get your assento
Take an appointment for a Citizen card (Pay extra for urgent)
Take an appointment for a Portuguese passport
Surrender your Indian passport, election card and ration card
I would suggest you surrender your election card well in advance because it takes time
Apply for x one visa on the frro website
apply for oci
I dont have any info about post cases but I will check with my agent when I call him next month and update here
but Dont stress so much just wait for some more time
sept or oct is the same but if you keep thinking about it, it will eat you up

it can be requested on the spot whenever you are inside the consulate
When surrendering indian passport in bombay they ask for embossed assento
make sure you get one when you go for your citizen card or Portuguese passport
after you apply for oci they call you with all original docs I think
Post cases reached nov October is done
